34. By Age 12, He Knew That He Wanted To Produce Movies

As a boy scout, Steve had to tell a story through still pictures. He requested that he be able to tell his story through a moving picture instead, and the scoutmaster granted his request. He used his father’s 8mm video camera to shoot a three-minute Western movie, which he showed at a boy scout meeting. The scout troop loved it. He went on to create more movies throughout his childhood using the 8mm camera.
